Orange flight suits?

what are the orange flight suits from?
When i was at space camp, there was one kid who had been there a couple times before, and acted like he knew EVERYTHING (-he did, grr-) but he had a orange flight suit, and i was just looking at the habfiles, and on one of the covers theres a kid in an orange flight suit. were they like old academy suits? or whatty?
hahaha, my mom bought me a flight suit when i went even though i didnt want her to and i never wore it and i felt really bad so i wore it to the halloween dance. people were like uhhh hahaha LOL. wow im weird

I think the orange flight suits were a holdover from Space Academy Level 2. From what i understand each track had a diffrent color flight suit. Orange Green and Blue i'm not sure which was which track though.

I believe the orange flight suits are USSRC museum employees but I am not completely certain.

Now the employees wear them but i believe at one time academy level 2 one of the tracks wore them atleast thats what a friend of mine who went told me.

A space camp site of a boy that went to Space Academy 2 had orange blue and green flight suits. I just assumed that different teams had different colors. Now the USSRC employees were the orange. I saw them walking around in the suits while I was there.

Yeah...all the museum employees wear the orange flight suits these days...

Like i said earlier the diffrent tracks use to wear diffrent colored flight suits. I know green was pilots i dont know which was orange and which was blue though unfortunately i never made it to academy level 2 i missed it by 1 year. If id gone in 97 i would have been one of the last to go to that program but i went in 98 the first year of advanced academy.

I have never seen any kids wearing the orange suits. BTW little kids look stupid in flight suits.

To see kids in orange flight suits you would have had to attens space camp in 1997 or before. That was the last year they had Space Academy Level 2

They are back but they are there to be like the ones woren by astonuats. These flights suits go on top of the flight suits and a belt/vest type decive is worn to be like the astronaut's parachute. see here

Makes me want to rip the 'chute off, run into the museum, and pretend to know what I'm talking about.

It gets really hot in that when you have to wear it for two hours on landing. On launch we only had to wear it for one hour but it was still really hot.

Tony told us that they were from the museum. They are from pre-challenger accident so that's why they're light blue.

same with me. all the pre-edm pics were really bad cause i was sooo tired. not to mention the four layers i had on. lol. gotta get around that weight issue. (though i still had to take things out and put it into katie's bag. lol.

I had to walk from Astrotrek to the TCF in the orage flightsuit and I was wearing my blue one underneath it. That was hot.
