Wow check this out an amazing find in a junk yard

Check this out i just found this website but the guy who runs it aparently made an amazing find in a junkyard. He found an Actual Gemini boilerplate capsule that was about to be scrapped and bought it. Aparently its Gemini BP-1 used in parachute test for the Gemini program. The site has pictures and everything check it out.

One time my speech teacher found a newspaper from Challenger and gave it to me. That's about as close as I've gotten.

I've made 2 great finds over the years. The first was a box full of astronaut photos some going back to Gemini. They belonged to the space center but i was allowed to get a copy of each one in the box. I still have them some are now autographed even. The other was a Life Magazine talking about the flight of Gemini 5 and the first use of the fuel cells on an american space craft.

My favorite thing i have is an autographed apollo 13 crew picture...all of the astornauts signed it after I sent in a letter to NASA when i was 12

That is really cool, I wish I would have done something like that when I was younger, but my space addiction wasn't as bad back then.

Well i have autorgaphs from John Glenn, apollo astronauts Dick Gordon of Apollo 12 and Fred Haise of Apollo 13, shuttle astronauts- Norm Thaggard, Frederick Greggory, Guy Gardner, Charlie Walker, and MS canidate Alvin Drew. I also have a Mae Jemison autograph coming soon.

My Grandma gave me a bunch of stuff from the Canadian space program. I got an old picture and a few patches.

Thats cool. I believe there is a canadian astronaut scheduled to fly on one of the upcoming shuttle missions whenever they fly but i don't know who or which flight.

Marc Garnau just returned awhile ago and he has now retired as an astronaut. He's one of the heads of our space program now. He was our first astronaut.

Well last weekend i met one american astronaut. Guy Gardner he flew STS 27 and 35.

When I was at Camp in March, the crew of STS-113 Im pretty sure came and talked to us about living on the ISS for 6 months and all the little kids asked the dumbest questions, but I am sure they were very important to them. I dont remember why they were there in the first place. I think they were making a stop at the Marshall Space Flight Center or something. Either way it was really cool to meet some astronauts.

That's what I was going to say. During Space Bowl of my 2001 trip that was the final question. My group didn't know it so we put down Homer Simpson and the counselor gave us a weird look.
