My ASA Trip

I got home from ASA today, and it was AWESOME! I only died twice on the EDM

My team and counselors were great. About half of my team were a school group from Brisbane, Australia. And what you guys said about EDM medical anomalies, you are right, it does get crazy. I really love the new Davidson Center. The highlights of the week for me have to be using the Canada Arm and winning Space Bowl.

Nice! I am only in Space Camp but I heard about the medical anomalies. How do you even get on anyway on the mission?

The Davidson center is awesome! Our consoler, Ashlee, even let us go into the little kids play area!!!

If you have to go crazy for a medical anomaly on the EDM, prepared to be wrapped in duct tape. Also, the Canadarm on Enterprise is AWESOME! If you are in MOCR, expect total chaos.

For the 6 hour mission..... Doesn't it get boring doing the same things for 6 hours?

Not really. It's in 2 hour blocks. For the first block, we had launch. The CDR and PLT did their thing after we were in orbit (probably solving anomalies, I was on an EVA most of that block), while the station crew went into Spacehab to conduct experiments. Once that block was over, we went into the cafeteria and ate off-site pizza.

For the second block, the orbiter and station crews transferred into Zarya, where we conducted experiments and solved anomalies. That's where I had to go crazy, and then was wrapped in duct tape and died because my crew and MOCR didn't act fast enough. Everyone in the station died at the end becuase our LiOH canisters ran out, and MOCR didn't help us.

On the last block, me and the other MS performed our last EVAs, then went back in for entry and landing. The CDR landed about 50 feet short of the runway, but that's still really good for someone with as little experience as him.

It has changed A LOT. Most of the space stuff has been moved out to the new Davidson Center, while the stuff from the Shuttle exhibit is in the area around the UAT. The main area of the museum is now traveling exhibits. The gift shop is much bigger now, too.

It was bouncy when I would start and stop, but not unbearable.
