Great Paintballing Stories

Post by karatebando »

So basically I went paintballing for the first itme this summer. It was SOOOO much fun.

During the seize and defend round we took a break while some of the players restocked their paintaballs.

While we were wating two of the guys decided to have a shoot off. Basically one at a time they stood unarmed with their hands over their sensetive part for protection. They took turns shooting three rounds at eachothher to see who could make the best shot and who had the best bruise.

If that was not amusing enough, one of the guns broke. While the one dude was testing he fired down and shot his foot. He finally gave in a took someone else's gun after many failed attempts at shooting the other guy.

In the begining of the day I got into a bit of a predicament. I had a guy on the other team shooting at me from a tree and a guy from my team shooting my back from behind me. First he gave our position away and then he was shooting at me. (It's lucky he was not very good at aiming.) I was yelling at him to stop shooting, the guy standing next to him was telling him to stop, and the opposing guy who I had alreaddy surrendered to kept shooting me. I was surronded by everyone.

It was ok though because we made the stupid guy on my team presedent ina nother round. He got killed being out there defenceless.

The guy I surrendered to I later got right in the face. It was great. He went all kamikazi and ran down the road shooting people, I turned, he didn't see me, and I shot him. (By the way did I say he was my boss at the time. Woops. )

So do any of you have great paintballing stories?

See Iron Gump in the Barracks thread for the first (and last) time paintball was tried at Aviation Challenge.

Considering the fact that it really hurts if you're shot in the wrong place you aren't missing much.

I've never really understood why paintball is so exciting to many. Maybe its because of my military background and knowing that when I was trained to put rounds downrange, it had a purpose and you knew what those consequences could be in a combat situation.

I don't know. It's not something I will likely ever do, same thing with hunting.

That's just because we shot you. We should have used a trainee....or at least Mikey....we tried to look at it for AC. Kids using paintball, wearing only BDUs.....ummmmmmmmm....NO!

I went out there with a t shirt on and dockers. It wasn't that bad. Well except for the time I tried to avoid the paintball and it skid down my arm. Left a little cut. It didn't count because the paint didn't stick. (lucky me.)
