Congratulations to all those graduating! I remember this time last year...nope, gotta tell you, I don't miss high school one bit. In fact, I can't wait to get back down to HSV on Monday. Summer term at UAH starts Tuesday and I've had enough of Indiana already. After summer term I'll take a couple of weeks at home before starting my co-op at MSFC.

both of the colleges ive been to pretty much had the same questions. they also had one about music and room temperature. i loved the roommate they gave me at my first school we got along great and it was a positive experience, and then at uah we have suites so i had my own bedroom but shared a living space with 3 other people. one of them and i became really good friends. i didnt really care for the other 2 but we all respected eachothers space.cheshire wrote:I am now terrified about my room mate situation for next year. Georgia Tech only asks for questions when assigning one:
do you smoke?
are you clean?
Do you wake up early?
will you have over nigh visitors?
I am so dead!
most schools will let you change your room assingment if the situation with your roommate is really bad. but dont worry, and just give it a little time after you meet them dont make a judgement on them too quickly.

yeah, Vandy only asked me 3 questions:
Do you go to bed after midnight?
Do you plan to use your room for studying?
Do you tolerate noise when you study?
I'm not too worried... I could get a single if I wanted but I think everyone needs to have a roommate once.

We have some very interesting hick-types in Saskatchewan. No kidding, when we went there one summer we saw an old red pick up truck with a bale of hay in the back and two hillbillies in the front. They were wering beat-up plaid shirts, overalls, and were chewing on strands of hay. It was the most hilarious thing I have seen! We have farmers here, but they're 'normal'; this was like something out of a stereotypical hick movie.
