We got to use the centrifuge as part of Adult Space Academy...sounds like we were pretty lucky, it being only a 3-day program. While we were over at AC, we also used the flight simulators a bit (the ones in the smaller room in the right corner of the building as you go in the door). Mine wasn't working right, so that was a bummer, but the centrifuge rocked.

I thought Mission:SPACE wasn't overly challenging, and that was before Space Academy, so it MUST be wimpy!! hehehe

I love the centerfuge too! I think the only reason we did it at 8-day this time was because they ran out of stuff for us to do. Other than that the only time i used it was at ac so i dont think its a normal thing for even ASA 8 day to do...

We did not get to use the centrifuge at AC during the 8-day programme, although I begged and pleaded with Lurch and Lenny to let us go on it, but no luck. It looked incredibly fun though.

I went on it abour a week ago. I love it but the Gs seemed really weak and the ride was to short.

no :( i never got to do it...last year though all the pilots were done with the sims at ac and the bus was late so i talked the councelor into giving us a tour of ac so i saw the stuff, just never went on it. I don't know too much about aircraft but the bigger sims that ac had with the projection screen looked really fun! That was the first time i had ever been in ac actually...

i went on Mission: Space just 5 days ago, it was ok, the G's were whimpy compared to the G-Force at space camp, and the ride was boring because all you go to do was push 2 buttons, and it didn't matter if you pushed the bottons or not because then the computer would override it, but i still went on it like 5 times :)

i haven't been on the centrfuge yet because i've always gone to space camp, and been a MS, but i heard that it's great, and i really want to go on it this summer when i'm at ASA for 13 days

mission space

Mission space is a fun ride but it's not difficult enough so I try to make it more difficult for me.

you can push all the wrong buttons on the the mission space ride and it won't affect the ride. I was very dissapointed in the fact that I couldn't crash the thing.
