At my school you either take the AB or the BC. I kind of wish we could take the AB first and then the BC. From what i've heard, BC Calc is a killer.
I have to sign up for all of my AP classes next week! I haven't decided what i want to take next year yet.
AB vs. BC calc
AP Euro vs. AP econ
i hate making these kinds of decisions

OMG i was in AP Euro last year and this year im in AP Econ. i absolutely love ap econ if given the choice though i would take Ap euro because i feel like i got more out of that class in the way of critical thinking.

I'm a social studies fanatic too (along with science of course). Right now I have seven courses I want to take and only six slots. I'm thinking about taking AP econ and AP govt. online this summer. Both of the courses are required for my school. If I can do them this summer, I'll have the correct amount of courses and slots. It would be great if I don't have to decide between AP Euro, band, and Astronomy.
I've never gotten why people who love science often love social studies too. It's kind of a weird combonation.
Now space history, that is the best thing ever!

We never had anything remotely exciting at my secondary school. It was just the basic core courses (English, Mathematics, Physical Education, Religion, Chemistry, Biology, etc.) with a few 'standard' elective courses like Art, Drama, French, Music, Shop, etc. There were no astronomy clubs or science clubs or spacey anything except my physics teacher's classroom, which was filled with space and science posters. It may explain why I spent many of my work periods and lunch hours in that classroom.
I sometimes wish I was able to transfer to my primary school's sister school, Strathcona Tweedsmuir School, as I hear they have several extra-cirricular programmes for the non-sporty folk. Sadly though, STS is several hours away from where I reside, and so my parents opted to keep me in local schools after we moved. Bugger!

I wish my school had had astronomy too! When I got to college, I heard bad things about the intro class and never took it.
My physics teacher had space posters too...in fact, he had worked for NASA at one time, on one of the unmanned probes. I can't remember which one it was, but when we took a school trip to Washington, DC and visited the Air and Space Museum, he pointed it out!
He would never tell us why he no longer worked for NASA, though. Hmmm!

I went to Manlius Pebble Hill (private school) in DeWitt, which is a suburb of Syracuse. It was a pretty small school when I was there (graduated in 1991, that dates me)! I hear it's expanded quite a bit, so they may well have astronomy now.
I went to University of Rochester for college.
