XMAS AC!

ok so this time at AC was seriously the best time ive ever had... even if due to problems beyond my control i arrived 1.5 days late. oh well.

cool thing though.. we used the 8 day missions and training schedule...
not cool thing... we didnt get to do aircrew equipement.

DAY 1/2
so the only stuff i missed was icebreakers, learning to takeoff, and rules. so whatever cuz i know how to take off anyways, the only difference was they changed the place we took off from. missing ice breakers sucked because giving names is fun. as i said. oh well.

so usually all your training is in 1 evening, but this time they spaced it out. i didnt like that because it gave us free time that could have been used for something fun like...AIRCREW EQUIPMENT!...and the counselors had to sign off on each task like taking off, landing, comms before you could do missions. so it took FFFFFOOOORRRRREEEEVVVVVEEERRRR to train. oh well. we got our patroling spots on day 1/2 also... and i ,feeling very leadery, was alpha flight lead and patrol leader. i have come to the conclusion that camp is only fun if you are the leader. anyways, i get to yell out fun things... like when a counselor says "incoming right" i get to yell disperse.. or is it dysentary? i couldnt remember. oh well. it all worked out. so that is all for day 1/2. patrol and training.

write out about day 2 or 3 or whatever tomarrow.

oh oh oh! i forgot to mention something exciting!

they are making the AWAKS (i dont know how to spell it) plane something the campers are in charge of!

like when the alpha flight flies thier mission the bravo flight will do the radary stuff!

it should be ready this summer.

and they are making it so loud inside the sim that you have to wear headphones to hear anything.

it makes me so excited for 12 day this summer!

What is 'aircrew equipment'?

I suppose taking the extra time for training allows everyone to become good at everything, especially the rookies.

I look forward to reading about Day 3!

AIRCREW EQUIPMENT.. it's only the best thing ever to happen to AC...

its where you talk about disapeering nomex and bladders and hypoxia and flight physiology and all that fun stuff...

and naked owen wilsons!!!!

when i come in march, we had better do aircrew equipment.
