OMG! i love this years olympics mostly because of micheal phelps! thank you micheal phelps for being really hot and good at swimming! you have made my olypmic excpierence very enjoyable!

ok i mean im a guy and all so im definitely looking at it differently than you bur ive gotta say that phelps is a great athlete and i just hope that the rest of team USA does as well

I love all the swimming, the volleyball, the gymnastics, the diving, the rowing... it's all enjoyable!

But yes, Michael Phelps is an amazing swimmer. Wow! He has worked incredibly hard; he deserves the medals he has won. It was really noble of him to step down from the 4 x 100 medley to let their alternate get a medal too. Way to go Phelps!

Although, I must add that all the other athletes have been doing a fantastic job. Everyone who makes it to the Olympics deserves a pat on the back no matter how they finish.

I hate to ruin your admiration for one Mr. Phelps but he was charged with drunk driving in Maryland. I just dont see this being good for his publicity especially cause he's only 19. Whats happening to the role models of today?

Haha I heard about that on the radio. I mean he is still a good swimmer and everything, but you see this DUI mess happens all the time - he just happens to be high profile.

Yes. The problem, however, is just that. He IS high profile. So he'll probably lose a great deal of respect.
