People won't vacation in space. It will simply cost to much. Plus all of the disadvantages to weightlessness (unless they spend a lot more cash to get a spinning station. If you belch its all over, same if you fart. Most people get sick, and you become closterphobic.

Private companies would conduct experiments as well. Why? Becase some drug company or mineral company will pay them to do so.

Not to continue the argument or anything but when has vomiting ever stopped people from riding roller coasters?

Well they have done it. This morning over the Mojave Desert SpaceShip One made its second suborbital flight in 2 weeks clenching the X-prize. Not only that it broke the record of the X-15.

When asked-
"What do you think the other aerospace companies are thinking right now?"
Burt replied (in regards to NASA)-
"I think the boys at NAY-SAY are thinking 'we're screwed'"

The thing that drives me most is that people tell me that ill never be an astronaut. My love and passion for space will lead me to new heights, hopefully back to the moon or mars.
