I have a strong accent on certain words but it's not as strong on most. I was capcom and the guys on flightdeck were making fun of my accent so I stopped talking to them.

Really? I don't know too many people from north/central Alberta that have accents unless they lived somewhere else for a while.

Soo... more nicknames, eh? ;-) I was called a mixture of the 'Goodyear Blimp' and 'Chipmunk' for a good month after I had my wisdom teeth out. I had no pain but my face doubled in size for a few weeks. :P

i think its kind of cool to hear people try to be american. it gives you an insight on what they think of us without them really saying anything.

The thing that drives me most is that people tell me that ill never be an astronaut. My love and passion for space will lead me to new heights, hopefully back to the moon or mars.

my nickname is demonicus or demo for short.
the reason why my nickname is demonicus is because demonicus is latin for satan. and some people in my school espically the strong cathloics some times think that im the anti christ or something.

La Senorita- given to me @ camp by Roni and Greg, spurred by Greg's "Spaniard" comment...rarr. I'm... of Latin American descent... so yeah it fit
Shorty has been one- at 5'1 and all. Which isn't that short, rarr!
Space Freak, Space Girl, Space Cadet, all from one guy in my 9th grade hr class that have all pretty much stood the test of time for obvious reasons.
Shenandoah, self given, because it means daughter of the stars...:)
Um... I'll think of more, I'm sure... gotta go get ready for class (martial arts, taekwondo essentially:))
See y'all.

Haha nice nicknames...

Lets see... my two most known nicknames are: The Energizer Bunny (I just keep going and going and going...), Spiderman (rock climbing), and Trigger (I achieved a rank of Marksman 1st class in the NRA...). 8)

I was pretty much "Commander" at Space Academy...and our team (Columbia) got nicknamed Team Doomed, which I didn't think was the most respectful nickname in the world, but I think my teammates meant it more as a reflection on ourselves, rather than the astronauts who got in the accident. I said to them "I hope you're not calling it that because I'm the commander" and they said no (I was pretty nervous about the whole being made commander thing at this point - this was after practice for that mission).

Outside Space Academy, my only nickname is Scary or Scary Carrie..'cause it rhymes, and there's that horror movie! Which leads me to a funny story...I was on the phone at work, and told the person my name, and he says, "Kerry, like John Kerry"? I said, no, Carrie, C-a-r...well, like the scary movie"! He replies, "Oh, great, just the mental image I didn't want to have before lunch"!! Hehehe...
