So a fighter jet similar to the F-16; will do. I would really like to hear tennisrox014's opinion, since she is the one who is actually going to AC that week.

I will try to get some design work done this weekend. The tree sould be done by early next week. The fighter jet may take longer.

Liz votes for the (C)F-18 for the shirts since those are the planes they fly. Since she is going to AC for the week, I think I will draw a F-18 for her and her mates at AC. If you guys do not like it, I can always draw both.

The T-38 is a training plane, thus the letter T; as opposed to F in the real fighters. Astronauts use them heaps to keep up with their flight hours.

Well, the bad news is that the Christmas characters do not fit into a tree very well. They are too square-ish to fit in a tree... or at least every tree I have drawn thus far.

The problems are:

- The reindeer's antlers stick out of the tree.
- The tree is huge while the characters are small, taking the focus off the characters.
- The characters are too 'square' in shape, and the tree is rather triangular. Trying to fit a square into a triangle is not working too well.

Any other ideas??

I can still draw a fighter jet for those who are interested... but the more I look at it, I think the characters alone may be a great image; they are simple yet they make a bold statement. With some words above and/or below the characters, the shirt would look great.

Comments?

just have the tree in the background, not as the background. draw the tree and i'll show you what i mean. it'll look good.

edit: sorry for the short post, i don't feel good and i'm trying to get offline.

Did I ever get out of them? lol, no the problem is that I was tossing and turning all night. Didn't get much sleep and had to get up early today. That and dinner sucked.

I have a file I need to give to Benji next time I see him on MSN. I have the characters all done but we need to figure out the rest of the design. I think I need to draw a new tree, as the one I have does not seem to work.

I will post more on Monday. :-S

<whisper> I am starting to think that too...

Then again, I am not going to Christmas camp, so it is up to everyone here who is to make that decision.

I want to get the tree thing figured out before I draw the F-16 jet. If we scrap the tree, we should probably scrap the jet too... I don't know... I like simple. :P But all the ideas are so good! What to do... what to do...
