hey..i'm at music camp right now in opera class and we're making boxes about operas (shoeboxes with scenes inside) mine is cosi fan tuti (spelling incorrect i think) anyway..i needed to type something so if anyone likes opera that's great..i like the magic flute..that's funny

ok gtg my group needs me to build a bridge for the box

we played magic flute overature in band soph year but we didnt end up playing it on a concert because i couldnt play the bassoon solo well enough . however i do have a recording of it where the tape is so old that it soudns like it is underwater its really cool.

i think my opera class is going to watch it next week (i won't be here

) but i have it at home..so i could watch it there

erg i have to go to rehersal soon...we're singing wagner choruses and i'm attempting to sing the high c's and b flats in the soprano 1 part...cough yeah right cough

i've never done any of that.......i'll check it out tomorrow during opera class..lol it will give me something to do because everyone is making boxes with opera scenes in it..and well my group doesn't want any rockets in the background so i've been put in charge of the "computer stuff"..haha ..the past 2 days i've spent a lot of time on hab1

...ooh but i did make some clouds out of cotton balls

they would rather have me sing the wagner stuff.......erg it was horriable today though because we didn't warm-up before we sang the huge chorus (the one where i have to hold a high c for 3 measures of common time..erggggggggg) and my voice just couldn't take it anymore..so i didn't have to sing during vocal masterclass (haha more time they gave me to go on the computer)

tomorrow i have to analyze some bach pieces in theory.......the kid sitting next to me wanted to analyze stravinsky's rite of spring....haha no way

eek i have to go help my sisterrrrrrrrrr..bye

OMG RITE OF SPRING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (freaks out) thats like the biggest bestest bassoon solo ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im working on getting that but its soo high. i love the first 30 seconds of rite of spring ,the rest is kinda scary

rite of spring is the best!!!! i listened to it 5 times in one day once..and it was awesome!!!! but i do not want to analyze it

haha
