True even though the job at camp is totaly worthless it could be a fun job in real life. I mean your doing what you love to do anyway sara telling people about the space program.

muwhahahahah and I tell them whether they want to hear it or not! Oh well, it isnt useless in real life. The job at camp is quite useless though I must admit. I think I initially took it because of control issues. I didn't like people not reading it correctly and it would bug the mess out of me. So naturally I took their job.

You read a bunch of stuff of of a sheet during your missions at camp. You translate big bad NASA words into stupid people words basically. The job involves a little more thought when you actually work for NASA, but it all boils down to the same thing. Make big words go to stupid people words and you're set.

Ok, gotcha. We only had 8 people on our team, so we just filled the necessary positions and combined some of the others into them.

Yeah Ive never had a full team so I definately know what you are talking about there. I was PAO when I was an MS even tho it was a PS position just to take up space.

I don't think there is a PAO position at ASA if i rtemember right. I know camp and academy have one and noone ever liked to get that job. In real life its also the voice you hear from NASA during the prelaunch comentary and countdown through ascent. I believe the head PAO person at KSC who does most of the launches is Bruce Buckingham although i've also head a woman do it as well.

I think I remember one of our MS's doing that. They basically just narrated everything that was going on.

Well i could be wrong. It might be combined with the SSPI or SHPI position i know most of the mocr positions are combinations of 2 diffrent ones at ASA.

Well most camp programs the mocr positions are seperate but for some reason ASA combines them.

Well that works for academy because you do have more people but camp still only has 6 in mocr and they dont combine jobs.

It is. I have always had pretty much two positions in mocr. I will probably have a full team this summer though, because I have been told the week I am going is full. It won't be that bad to have 18 people on a team.

I think it will actually be cool to have a payload specialist or two in the orbiter. I don't like doing my own physical. my my I am lazy.
