Haha yay! We're having a hurricane party but not quite like that....Bonnie and Charlie are both coming one day apart from each other and hitting my city.

Im jealous! ive always wanted to be in some scary weather thingy like a hurricane or monsoon.

i have a friend in pensecola who was freaking out to me today about how she was gonna die. same with this friend in Cary NC i have. i was telling them how North Dakota should get hurricanes. that would be tight.

Hey guys i wouldnt take this storm too litely especially living in Tampa. Charlie is now a 4 thats the strength of Andrew and Hugo. I went through a category 2 last year with Isabel. To give you an idea we didnt have power for 4 days some places took 3 weeks to get power back. Trees were down everywhere people were stand8ing in line for hours hoping to get Ice to keep food from being ruinerd and to get water. Somje people are still trying to get repairs done because FEMA is so slow in getting things done. There was also looting of homes and businesses and a curfew set in most cities. Also much of our city was flooded their were even reports of dolphins swimmuing around on Langley AFB/NASA Langley. I always wanted to go through a hurricane now that it looks like Charlie may still have some strength when it gets to VA i'm hoping the path changes or it weakens alot.

Yeah I'm with Dan on this one. If you're still in the area you better leaving. I heard it went to category 4 this morning and thats just not fun. Lets just hope you got somewhere out of its path! *hopes*

Thanks for the word of advice. I've been called stupid, madder than a hatter, and all sorts of other things. If Charles actually came (it missed me, by the way, all we got was a little drizzle), I would have gone outside and yelled "Hey, Chuck, come and get me!". I've lived here all my life. I'm awed by mother nature, but I won't back down. I stuck around to protect my stuff. I'[m pretty hardheaded, but if I'd died, it'd be my own [darn] fault.

And changed it's path. Hurricanes always seems to do that on us. One of these days, it won't and I'll be SOL. But I bought a raft, so that's pretty cool, don't you think?
