Hey,

Using the Freedom Of Information Act, in the mail from marshall today was a copy of a time for courage. It looks so good! Much better then the copy they show everyday in the museum (the video and audio quality that is.) You can get it free from sending a request to this website http://www1.msfc.nasa.gov/FOIA/form.htm lIt can take them up to 21 days to send your tape. So if any of you have been wanting a copy, i suggest it!

Ok, not to sound like an idiot or anything, but anyone wanna help me out on this form? There are a lot of blanks on it, and I may be book smart and have a great SAT, but when it comes to stuff like this I usually need a little help.

My request is in... Whether they will send a video to Canada or not is a whole different story, but we'll see. It will make a great teaching tool for my Girl Guides (similar to Girl Scouts in the USA). I am always trying to find new material to teach the girls about space exploration. :-)

As for the form, this is what I did: (I hope it is correct.)

Name, address, e-mail - fill in the blank
Document - "Other" - "A Time for Courage" video
Purpose - either personal/non-commercial, or non-profit organisation
Maximum fees = 0$
Additional comments - viewed video at USSRC (optional)

i sort of feel bad saying the most i'll pay is 0..but i don't really want to pay for the video..i guess since other people are doing it i'll just be cool and follow..or put like $5, would that just be a donation then? that could be nice.

It's worth a try.

I am from Canada, and I sent in a request for one.
I may or may not get one. They did not send me a confirmation or anything.

My form is in, with a comment about how they could save a lot of money by providing us with an internet-ready version that we could host someplace.

Hopefully they'll comply.

I dont think we will see it online but maybe. I talked to some marshall people and tina swindell (the lady who sings it). The marshall people say that she doesnt want it online, I asked her and she said she would get back to me, but that was several weeks ago.
