Ice Cream

Post by SamM »

I'm leaving saturday for Cape Cod..and that means i'll be near a Ben and Jerry's!!!!!!!........i love b&j's ice cream so much..it's the best!
over spring break i went to b&j's 15 times in a row...yeah maybe it was a little excessive but aah i love it and i don't have one where i live

my favorite flavors are chocolate chip cookie dough and uncanny cashew...what kinds do you guys like?

I cannot say I have ever tried Ben and Jerry's ice crème before. :-(

However, when I go to an ice crème parlour I usully get chocolate peanut butter cups, canadian maple, chocolate chip cookie dough, or vanille français. Oh, I don't know... my preferences vary every time I am there.

I tend to avoid stuff with bubblegum flavour, cherry, fudge, or chocolate (unless it's small chips).

Great, now I have a craving for ice crème!

Excuse me, but Oatmeal Cookie Chunk is definitely the best of the best, hands down.

If we are going strictly ben & jerry's i would have to say that i have two flavors i hold very dear to my heart. The first being chocolate chip cookie dough. The other being of the two twisted variety called Everything but the... Now of course i want some ice cream but all we have is caramel caribou and that a little too sweet for me lol.

Well... my nearest Ben and Jerry's closed... and they put in a Cold Stone creamery... which wouldn't have been that bad except I'm a Marble Slab guy... I wish I knew where the second-nearest Ben and Jerry's was...

The only way to get ben & jerry's around here is to go to the nearest walmart and buy it. It kinda takes the fun out of it a little but it definitly made my vacation to vermont more exciting! :)

Oh my goodness, The Marble Slab Creamery is absolutely amazing!!!! My beau's cousin bought the franchise for all of Canada, so we went to the grand opening of his store in South Edmonton yesterday for a taste. Wow, that ice creme is amazing!!! (Not to mention the shop being absolutely PACKED with people, and it wasn't even hot outside yesterday!)

Okay, so everyone visiting South Edmonton Common, The Marble Slab Creamery is across the car park from London Drugs! They have another one on Whyte Avenue too.

Oh yum... I cannot get over how good it is. The original cone doesn't look like much, but it's REAL ice creme so it fills you up really fast. It's expensive, but it's definitely worth it! <insert drooling smiley here>
