I got back two weeks ago and the new facilities are absolutely great. Next year everything will be finished supposedly. Hopefully the Saturn V restoration project also gets off without a hitch.
***EDIT***: This was supposed to go on another topic (and it was supposed to be a post and not a full topic) which was about the new facilites. Sorry if I caused any confusion.

Ha okay well a lot of us were there too....6 or something to be exact...maybe 7. Were you on a regular or 8-day team?
Eight day.

Eight day team. The 24 hour mission was enjoyable in many ways but there was a lot of dead space and of course, nobody wanted to get up at 4:30 in the morning.

Unless they joined after camp, I dont know where they would be....so you were on Enterprise?
Yes.

Yep, I was on Enterprise. It was the title of the subject but it's a bit small and hard to read. You may want to scroll up and read the edit in the first post of this topic. Since were talking about this, wasn't it odd that they seemed to put all the kids in the 8-day teams into the same bunks? Example: Everyone in my bunk was from Enterprise.

i think its a good idea to put everyone from the same team in one room because then you get to know everyone better

Agreed. It really did help us in knowing who was who. I wish this had happened during my other stays there.

it happened to me once during academy...i had two girls from another team in my room and my friend from my team was in a room across the hab

As some have said, they probably grouped us like that so that we could know each other better since we were going to be in the 24 hour mission.

and because other people would be leaving earlier than u

You're right, everyone did leave earlier than the two 24-hour teams. It was actually kind of haunting to see the Hab almost completely abandoned after we got back from the 24 hour mission.

What in the world are you guys talking about? Every time I've gone to camp I've always been in the same room as my team members.
