okay, so today, i was going to take a shower. i walked into the bathroom and stepped into the shower with my flip flops on. it made me think that i was at camp too long. lol. anyone else with daily events that turned space campy?

......you put your lanyard on as part of your outfit in the morning.
......you look around and yell your team name in public.
......you eat lots of food when its really good food, because you aren't sure if dinner is going to be questionable or not.
......you yell "Take that, rewind it back, Lil' John got the beat that makes your booty go.." and then expect everyone around you to clap.
.......you aren't sure of a space-related fact, so you ask the person closest to you for confirmation.
.......you horde "real" food and hold on to it, never knowing when you need some extra rations.


These all have happened too me in the past few weeks.

*When listening to Yeah! on the radio you clap at the correct moments.

*You check to see if your clipboard and a bottle of water are in your bag.


I have lots more i will think them up and write them down, i've been doing all sorts of crazy stuff from camp lately lol.

i started calling people at music camp the names of people on my team and i think i sang "you've lost that loving feeling" more than 20 times within the first week i was home....now it's only down to 10

-you freak out when people say possiably
-when someone says marco and you reply polo you then follow with "everyone's here"

haha ok i'm not the only one who freaks out when they hear possibly

- You yell, COME BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!!!!!!! and there is no Meg at your side doing the same thing and everyone stares at you like your insane.
- There is no barfie and coughie when you are sick.

There will be more later, but I just can't think anymore.

-when you're playing dinosaurs with a little kid and break out into song...

ahh yes good times.

any time at camp is a good time

::when you see a group of younger kids and go up to ask them if you could have their nametags.
::when you're sitting at breakfast and yell at the empty room saying it would be really nice to get some more lucky charms.
::when you get home from something and ask how much time you have to take a quick nap and change clothes.
::when you respond to multiple names like diaper girl, captain obvious, special, gimp.
::when you have an urge to grap/steal walkie talkies and walk around talking into them and playing james bond.

::when you become really paranoid and begin to duct tape anything that could 'float' in your room.
::when you yell 'stranger danger' just for fun and to try it out and people just stare.
::when someone asks how you are and you respond with the dive sign okay.
::when you get your usual dippin dots craving at 11pm.
::when you eat papa john's and automatically begin to think of how you can sneak it back on station.
::when you bring a bottle to lunch hoping to fill it up with either soda or tea.
::when you see a group of your friends and say 'hey y'all!'.
::when you see one friend and say 'hey y'all'.
::when you're having a good day and do the happy turtle to everyone you see.

when you hear "you've lost that loving feeling" on the radio and think of Benji singing it to Arlisa.

::when you go out to eat and its someones birthday and they start singing. and you duck and look around for sara.

haha wait i dont get it despite its obvious reference to myself...

Ha, ha! Wait a minute! I always sang that with a group... my singing was that bad!?!

Anyways, you know you spend too much time at camp when you start singing it to your co-workers!
