okay... so im sitting at home reading my emails when i get an email from my friend in seattle who is supposed to be going to russian camp with me... she says.." dude im sorry but i cant go to camp this year.." i was like .. what!?!?! its in like 2 weeks.. so i call my mom all sad and what not and she says do you still want to go to russian camp .. i say no cuz what is camp without my best friend... so instead of 2 weeks of russian i get to go to 2 weeks of ac!!!!! ... which is allright with me cuz i take russian lessons in the schoolyear and i dont need to go to some camp and sing russian folk songs all day just to enrich my russian expirence. :D :D :D so im almost for sure for 2 weeks of AC!!

Since you have not been to ASA before, you may want to check out the programme in person. As hard as it is to believe, the actual camp experience is better than any story can tell. I am sure the same goes for AC.

If I were able to go to camp twice in one year I would definitely attend both programmes. Get the most of the opportunity while you are still young enough to do so! (I speak from experience...)

If I would have been able to do 2 weeks I would have done one ac and one asa. I don't know how much you like space but as you can see from all of us it is an awesome program. If you're an ms you can even do scuba or be a pilot and fly the ac sims (and kick but!). The first time I went to camp my best friend came with me and she knew nothing about space but had a great time.

Pilots great as long as you have a good commander. For my mission my commander couldn't read the checklist very well so I had to read it for myself, flip the switches and read out her steps all at the same time.

No, we fly Mach III sims for 8 day.

And Laura, sounds like we would make a great Pilot/Commander pair. I love flipping switches, but if I have someone who annunciates as well as me, that makes life so much easier.

And I was pilot for launch and we had all the pre launch checklists. She made it so stressful for me.
