okay you guys...here it is...the design for the special session: week 41 shirts.

once they are made, lauren is going to take a pic for you all to see!

on a bright/neon green shirt: on the front: where the space camp logo would be on a camp shirt, a pic of a shuttle with (on three separate lines)...'advanced academy...special session:...week 41.' below.

then, optional: the back would include your name/nickname/callsign/username/whatever you want in large font with your position (pilot or mission specialist) below in smaller font.

since it would reduce the price greatly, we will be ordering a total of 20 shirts. (there are six of us who have shown interest, here on the hab.) we will be selling the other shirts once we are at camp. these shirts won't have the name/position on the back.

pricing: for a plain special session shirt without name on back: $9.00.
for a shirt with name and position: $14.00.
unless you want to receive your shirt at camp, we would have to also add in shipping. (when people begin to show interest in shipping, we will find out the price of that.)

please pm me with your size, and if you want the back option, what name you want to use and your position.

the shirt company will be getting our order on monday. so, if something is terribly wrong, or if you think something should be changed, let me know.

the deadline for ordering (unless you just want to purchase from the extras) is sunday evening (like 11:00pm).

okay, so i called space camp today to ask if we can sell the extra shirts since there was some concern from parental units (both mine and lauren's). and they won't allow us to sell them on camp property.

so, our idea is to only order enough for the people who ordered them. if we reduce the number by 9, then the price goes up.

before we order them, we wanted to make sure its okay with you guys. it'll be $12 without the name and $20 with.

please tell us if this is still okay.

thats ok with me, i would like to see a pic, but i trust that they will look cool, so put me down for one! And as far as that goes as long as you dont put up a booth and draw a crowd, nobody is going to notice, care, or be able to proove anything. I dont think they will care if you "sell" them like to people in your room and by word of mouth!

errr I talked to Lauren so she apparently hasnt talked to you or something...yeah. I just realized that we arent all going to be on the same team anyway tho because there are 2 right?

You could always try to get on the same team like we did at Christmas camp.

there is no difference with the teams. there is no team identification on the shirts. its only special session shirts.

You know, no one at all will actually care if you sell the shirts... it's probably just a technicality that it is in the rules that you can't sell them.

I second that. As long as you don't try and set up shop in the bottom of the Hab.

along with camp not officially allowing us, i also fear that someone will find out and then we aren't able to sell the shirts. we would each be out like 50 dollars.

someone should organize special shirts for xmas camp!!!

hey. i had to wait 175 days since i left camp. im dying in my last week. im like 6 days, 5 days, 4 days...lol. it seems more managable when its so far away. oh, btw...

IM LEAVING IN FOUR DAYS!!!

Haha wait wait this means that I am leaving in 6 days...a day early right? okay okay 6 days but Im going to be sore as mess from softball camp...thats okay!

i don't count today (cause i already got up) and i don't count the day i leave (cause within hours im in bama, eating at sonic!!!). i guess that's considered wishful thinking? anyhoo, sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday.
