8-day programs... not just a 1-time special thing for alumni

Post by CastAway »

Yeah, that's right. There's more to it... but I must warn you, this could be considered a spoiler for something you'll learn while you're there. However, it's not like it's a spoiler for some special thing they'll throw at you mid-week or anything... in fact, it's about the future. So, read the next sentence at your own risk... by the way I highly recommend you DO read it...

Yeah, that's right.... the 8-programs are a test run for a FUTURE 12-day program! These are most likely scheduled to be implemented next summer, and as far as I can tell, they will occur as planned. I actually talked to one of the important in-charge type guys, and he confirmed all this. So, when you go, your suggestions are considered quite seriously to help plan not only for the next 8-day session, but also for the future! And the guy gave everyone his card to email any suggestions we think of later! So think hard about this after you have your 8-day session, if you're having one.

From what I hear, will be, not would be. They're going to be asking about the possibility on the evals, I think... so mention how much you really really like the idea.

Somewhere from 24-48 hours, maybe even 60... but most likely around 48. I'm guessing the training would be more intense, too, and maybe adding back in all the briefings (which most were taken out of the 8-day) would add some time to it, too.
