Special Session Week 36 Check-In
If you're going to Special Session Week 36 (May 29-June 5, 2004), stick a note on here.
I'll be there. Pilot Benji. I've still never been CDR, but no matter. I like flipping all those switches! Who says we're not trained monkeys up there? Ok, so Tony says that, but does he really count?

Yeah, I'm coming as a MS, and I'm hoping to get back into regluarly posting on this board so that you all will actually look forward to meeting me, as I am looking forward to meeting some fellow hab1 folks. Also, I'm really looking forward to hopefully having an orbiter position, so can ppl please tell which section they're planning to go in?
The less time spent in Orion Bay, the better.
Well... we've only got one month and 4 days to go... I'm getting excited already! Do we want to plan something special to identify ourselves as Hab1 people?
Also, are any of you doing late departure? Because of the whole can't fly until 4 thing the next day (even though I don't know if I'll be SCUBAing for the mission), my flight doesn't leave until like 6, so I'll be there a little extra longer.

I leave at 6pm on Sunday. I couldn't get a flight at an earlier time so I'll be there.

i just purchased my tickets from delta today. we called them cause their page was having some problems. they wouldn't give us the entire 15% discount cause apparently its on a level system or something. so unless you pay about 500 dollars for a ticket, you don't receive the entire discount. so its not really worth it.

Only two airlines that fly to Edmonton fly into Huntsville so unless I want to drive 3 hours down to Calgary my choice is limited.MNathaniel wrote:Oh, OK then, nevermind. Not taking the official airline of Space Camp?

Wow, whenever I have left from Edmonton to Huntsville, a round trip cost about 900$ CAD! Even checking the rates today, they look about the same. If airfare were only 180$, like Benji, I would have definitely attended ASA a few more times and I would have gone back as an adult already!
After-thought: Sometimes the WestJet flight to Calgary and back with a round-trip flight from Calgary to Huntsville is cheaper than round-trip from Edmonton to Huntsville. Crazy, I know...

i go from msp to atl and then to hsv. so its about the same. jeoz, you wouldn't think it would make that much of a difference. and, i meant do you have a layover. i was pretty sure you're going round trip. unless you decide to live in the bushes in shuttle park. lol, that wouldn't be cool when it rains. other than that, free 24 hour access to sprocket!!!Benji wrote:Two. One from TPA to ATL and then another to HSV. Round trip tickets are actually cheaper than one-way.
