Space Academy simulators

I remember Endeavour at space academy it was alot better than the one at camp but still not as good as the advanced academy sim. Endeavours cockpit was more realistic and more complicated. I was commander on that mission. Endeavours mid deck though was right behind the flight deck and is extremely cramped but had enough room to do what the payload specialist had to do. The other cool thing about Endeavour was it moves. Just before launch the counselor leans endeavour back to near vertical which gives it a more realistic feel than any of the other shuttles at camp.

Yeah the moving part is really cool and landing was even a little rough i do remember wishing that it had moved in correspondance with the S-turns but hey at least it moved at all.lol

That would have been cool if it could have moved with the moving of the joy stick. But still it was cool to tilt back to a launch position.

The academy sims look cool but cramped. I'd prefer the Enterprise anytime!!

They are cramped compared to Enterprise, Atlantis Intrepis or even Columbia but they were still cool.

in the movie they got to take apart the orbiter and like rewire the whole thing and sparks were goin everywhere an lea thompson got out of her seat to go help and they all died!!

I thin anyone who tried to take apart the real sims at camp would get in trouble,

Well good luck with that one try not to get in trouble and whatever you take apart make sure to put it back together for everyone else.
