ASA Update

Hello again gang! Well, it's day 3 here in Huntsville. We have combined our two teams into one of 16. We've asked if we can do a 12-hour EDM instead of just 6, but they said the new Enterprise software (which is very cool, btw) is not ready to handle anything longer than 6 hours. Next year, they will be set up to do 12 and 24 hour missions, but right now they think we would just be bored because they couldn't give us enough anomolies. The Enterpise changes are great. The entire flight deck was gutted and redone with as close to a glass cockpit as possible, minus the touch screens. MOCR has no keyboards now, just the screens and a mouse. Everything is color and the video moniors are much improved. Oh yes, there are new space suits this year with helmet, cooling system, boots and all. I'll let you know how they wear. Also, all the Hab beds have new mattresses. All in all the changes are great.
My counselor from last year, Samantha, is now a supervisor. It was great to see her again. I've told everyone about this site so hopefully we will get some new visitors.
I have to run as someone else needs the computer.
