It's been cloudy here. The best viewing time is in the winter. The only thing is it's really cold. But the upside is the northern lights come out really clear.

When i got my telescope out i managed to pick the nicest night i had had in terms of weather in a long time. I had no clouds, low humidity, and decent temperature, plus my neighborhood is naturally very dark. The only downside is that my house is surrounded by tall trees, so i have to wait till late and carry my telescope around looking for the best vantage point. and that thing is not small, i have a reflecting scope with about a 5 foot long and 8 inch wide barrel, on an old wood and steel frame.

Im looking for a new one though, if anyone has any suggestions for a decent telescope with good resolution and itsnt insanely expensive.
