Okay, everybody ready? I'm sitting here icing my leg again so I might as well do this.
Saturday: Orientation, Mach I orientation(or whatever you want to call it), Mach I sims, intro to rocketry, history of spaceflight I, mission prep
Saturday was a lot of fun. I got there and was surprised to see Katie there already. Her flight wasn't supposed to get in until after 11:00 so when she ran up to me it caught me totally off guard. We ate lunch and then went to "orientation". After that, we had a track split right off the bat pretty much and since I was plt track we went to an AC flight sim briefing. Later, we went over to AC and did some stuff in the Mach I sims. Somewhere in between there the Australians that were on our team caught up with us and we had intro to rocketry.
Sunday: Shuttle O, 1/6 chair, rocket building, alpha mission training, space shot, history of space flight II, hydroponics I
Everyone in my room was kinda tired on Sunday morning because we had stayed up late talking to the 3 Aussies in our room. We eventually woke up at some point throughout the day. Ssunday is the one day that I don't remember very well for some reason. I remember getting pulled out of alpha mission training early so that I could go meet the people who were picking me up for church that afternoon. I went to church and then they took me out to dinner, and paid for my dinner. When I got back we were getting ready for another track split and plts were doing rocket construction. After that, we went back to the hab to get ready for bed.
Monday: GNC, space piloting, ECLSS (orbiter systems I), G Force, Bravo mission training, Charlie mission training, October Sky, and another movie
Monday we had another track split right off the bat. Plts went to GNC and space piloting with Andy and don't ask me where everyone else was. After that we went to Orbiter systems I (again with Andy). We had Bravo and Charlie mission trainings that day too. We watched October Sky because Dr. Von T wasn't there last week. Then, we went to the hab and watched another movie (I think it was X-men, I don't know because I read a book) because it was raining. I got two packages that day. One from my mom and one from my grandmother, which were both filled with food. That night we played a game because we couldn't find whoever was supposed to be doing our stuff.
Tuesday: Alpha mission, Bravo mission, Charlie mission, Area 51-inside, climbing wall, gift shop, museum hunt
It was still raining on Tuesday so we had to do a lot of stuff inside again. Our rocket launch and time at the lake were both rained out and the mission to mars thing was broken. We ended up doing the climbing wall and spending some time in the gift shop instead. We had all three missions on Tuesday(not back to back though), and pulled them all off pretty well. We also did Area 51 inside that day.
Wednesday: Optics, astronomy, orbiter systems II, orbital mechanics, MAT, recovery systems, straight up, Russian Space history, attempted rocket launch
We tried to launch our rockets again on Wednesday, but were once again unsuccessful. During recovery systems we designed a horrible parachute and our water bottle rocket crashed to the ground. Most of the day was filled with track splits and by the evening we were running late (because of trying to launch our rockets). We missed dinner and went to Straight Up. Brent arranged for us to get sack dinners to eat during Russian Space history. Unfortunately, we missed the chicken fingers that night. The last thing we did was the MAT.
Thursday: EDM, Solar physics, day telescope, radio telescope, solar system, Area 51 outside
Our EDM was first thing on Thursday, which meant we had to be up really early. We ate breakfast, went to training, and then started our EDM. I was in MOCR, and Brent was running MOCR, so needless to say we had a lot of fun. During the first half a "tornado" hit Houston and we had to go out in the hall and assume the tornado position. I can't tell you how many people gave us wierd looks. When we returned to MOCR it was a mess. Chairs were flipped over and everywhere, books were hidden, headsets were everywhere, our medical book was missing, and we had several caution and warning lights. Two people were injured so our PROP and EVA/INCO took care of them. Our PAO had been going insane the entire time and she really lost it then. Since everyone else was busy and I happened to be Flight and CapCom was losing blood. I grabbed a random headset, book and started helping our pilot and commander get rid of those gosh darn lights. Then, station started having problems so I had to go over there. Eventually, things calmed down. We lost power on the orbiter at some point and none of us could figure out how to get it back on. After we took a break for lunch, we started working on the problem again (we finally resolved it right before re-entry and after much help from Brent). After lunch there was a gas leak, and Maggie thought she was the crocodile hunter. That was interesting since she was one of the Aussies. Eventually, the craziness came to an end and we went to solar physics. After solar physics we looked at the solar telescope and then went to see the aerial tram the PS's had designed before we went over to the radio telescope. Area 51 was right after dinner, and I saw my other counselor from last summer. I didn't recognize him at all, and it was hime who recognized me. We went to solar systems after that and then we just kinda hung out until bed.
Friday: gift shop, graduation, space bowl, and some other stuff
Friday we attempted to launch our rockets yet again, but this time they had dissappeared. We went to the gift shops for about an hour and a half or so. Space bowl was different from last year because we could only send one person up at a time and we had to take turns. Then we had graduation prep and graduation. I cried a little even though I had promised myself I wouldn't cry. I couldn't help it. Then, I went to the gift shops with my family because my sisters wanted stuff and we hit the road.

Sounds like fun. A lot different from X-Mas Camp (it rained the entire week, so we missed out on a lot, though we never saw any movies because of the rain, I guess it's soo jammed packed in those 5-days that there's always something else to do.
