Websites

Post by Benji »

I noticed recently that not much attention is given to the websites people have listed in their profiles. I've been looking at them, and some of them are pretty cool.

Take, for example, http://www.vanessainspace.com/. It's got a few cool pictures of Camp (mostly counselors, but still cool). This is VansinSpace's site.

http://www.travishoyt.com/ is ASAScubaDude's site. There isn't anything on it, but the photo is kinda cool.

Vincent has a great site listed, http://www.hab1.com, which is a great community of Space Campers.

MOTTS has http://www.geocities.com/SpaceCampTheMusical/. This is one of the best. I highly suggest you see Sara's poem. The pictures are cool, too.

Smiley's site (http://www.geocities.com/caveman_smiley/) has lots of pictures of camp (esp. the Circle Trick).

Kristen has a Space Camp page on her site (http://www.geocities.com/KristenMatsumura/) with some of the same pictures on Smiley's.

Of course, I have to brag about http://www.biggestpaininthebutt.com/. Not much Camp stuff (I'm not a big picture person), but it is a load of fun. Oh, by the way, I'm NOT A POTHEAD!

Richasi's domain is kind of cool, and there is a Space Camp section. http://www.azlance.com/~richasi/

Shenandoah04's site (http://www.advanced-space-academy.freeservers.com/) is like an ad for Space Camp, but is's still cool because there ae pictures!

So those are the sites. I suspect you all (and my that I mean Jason and Sara) will now have a nice discussion about Smiley's circle trick and how Vincent's site is really great. Enjoy.
Ad astra per aspera.

Actually i was going to say something about Richasi's sight. If you look at the space camp section there is alot there to look at and it has some cool stuff. Just wish it got updated more. He has the old space camp news letters they use to send out, old post cards, museum guides, and even scans of some of the old space camp brochures. That page brings back so many memories for me.

I think this site has helped inspire other sites. When i found hab 1 2 years ago i was doing a search for nonofficial space camp sites because i was bored and missing space camp at the start of one of the anniversaries of one of my trips. And this was about the only sight i found at the time.

This is probably one of the best space camp websites I've ever seen.

Richasi's does have some really good information. I love looking at pictures in general though, so I will look at anyone's camp website with decent pictures on it. :) :)

Well myfavorite part about Richasi's sight is the section with the scans of old space camp brochures. They bring back so many memories.

I think the old brochures are cool, but sadly enough I wasn't old enough to go to camp when most if not all of them were made. so sad.

Oh well it looks cool. I just don't know exactly what you mean. Is there anywhere specific you want to go with your site? I am not good AT ALL with web design so I don't think I am the right person to ask. Content wise though I like it.
