Maybe it's just me, but I think I'm suffering from space camp withdrawl. Is there even such a thing? I found myself wearing my badge today because I missed camp so much.

I don't know what it is. It's been less than a year since I went. Maybe I've just been remembering things as I post.

Ha, my lanyard and my right stuff medal are on my wall hanging in all their glory and total abundance of pins. I am always having withdrawl issues!

Haha, well I am always wearing a camp or nasa shirt and my name badges are never too far away. I also talk to counselors who either call me or IM me, so I guess that helps a little.

I just found my name badge in with all of my scrapbooking stuff today. I had forgotten how dirty my lanyard got during area 51 stuff.

My lanyard is almost a holy relic. Pins all up the sides and 7 sets of wings. It deserves a space on my wall!

I really wish I could go as many times as you have.

I found someone who's been 19 times. Plus, they're from Indiana. I guess I'm not the only one around here who's interested in space. That's a relief. Here's the link to the article: http://www2.spacecamp.com/spacecamp/media/carmella.asp

I want to break that record! Okay so if this is time number 8, only 11 more times to go in the next 2.5 years! Okay that isnt that realistic but go figure.

They spent about a year's worth of college tuiton on camp though. I don't know if I could bring myself to do that.

I think I may be able to pull off 15. But I think I should get the record for the most time going just to camp. Those 11 AC visits are still AC. Well, yeah I am going to be a counselor so I guess that works.

I did notice the 11 AC trips. I would rather go to ASA than AC, but that's just me. I've never been to AC, I've thought about it.

I still like ASA better than I liked AC. I dont have a real reason other than I just like it more. I will finally start to get all that money back once I start working there. Well slowly but surely I will. Maybe. I lost my lanyard once and Smiley found it after an airport guy turned it in to him. I am so happy and thankful to him because man I love that lanyard. It has so many memories within it.

I probably need to reconsider going back to AC because I was told that they have changed the program dramatically since I was there before. I have never had any real interest in the pilot track at camp and being a fighter pilot never really appealed to me, but I think it is worth giving it another shot. Maybe I hold some grudge against AC because of E and E getting rained out while I was trying to crawl through a mud puddle and not get hit with anything.

From what i've read there have been some definate changes but it seems like more to the mach 1 and 2 than to the 3 program. I'd loe to go back i like the idea that they do for i forget if its mach 1 or 2 now they let them choose whether they want to train as an air force or a navy/marine corps pilot.

Yeah I did Mach II...I think it is the younger programs where they let them choose a track. Yeah it is the younger programs, I just looked at the Space Camp website and there is a choice between the blue angels and the thunderbirds for Mach I. Mach II doesn't even offer multiple tracks so I guess it is just Mach I according to the website. Yes, Mach III doesn't offer multiple tracks, so its just Mach I.

I wish Mach 3 did infact it would make more sense i think because campers at that age have more of an idea of the diffrences between the two tracks and have more of an idea of what they want to do in the future.
