9 more days of school!!!

Post by stargazer0105 »

I am soooooooo unbelievably happy! We only have 6 full days of school left and then 3 days of finals. The best part about finals is that we don't have to go in until 9 and we are out at 12:30 the first two days and 11:30 the third. On top of that my sisters have to go another week after that so I can rub it in. Hey, they rubbed it in when they had extra days off that I didn't. :D Plus, I'm planning a surprise party for one of my friends the week after school is out. On the flipside though we have all kinds of projects due this week and all of our teachers are cramming everything in so we can have tests on Friday and review for finals on Monday and Tuesday.

wow...see I have finals for three days next week. Then after that I have two more weeks of school, but it is just seminars so its not too bad. The only thing I dont like about private school is that we are always in school like two weeks longer than everyone else. The first year i went to school there, when all the other kids got out in May, we had to go until JUNE 18th! Now it is only June 6, but still not any fun

I'm in a private school and we get out like a week before everyone else. We just don't take as many breaks or days off.

I have like five math assignments left until I'm completely done with everything. Summer sucks around here, though. See the topic on snow.

We probably have less than 5 b/c most of our teachers will use Monday and Tuesday as review days.

My math teacher doesnt believe in review. He was like, yeah just study your 98 tests and you should do fine. Bear in mind this is an honors math course and most of his tests are 10 pages long front and back.

What do you do in your honors classes? All of our normal classes are pretty much equivalent to honors classes, or so they say.

Ours aren't usually ten pages long. We only have 1 hour long classes, but most of the tests take longer than the class time available.

we have one hour classes and a semi-block schedule..its hard to explain...either way in my honors math class we covered two years worth of material: trig and algebra II..we have two books...we go fast and learn a bunch of random useless stuff...today i had a quiz so only 6 pages and it was on matrices which are pretty easy...and at my school honors might as well mean death because the courses are so intense and rigorous...

We did matrices last semester, but it's really hard for us to double up on math classes. The four years of Bible really cut in to available class space. I'll be taking trig/pre-calc next year and AP calc my senior year.

I don't like reading it either. So far this year the only book I have really enjoyed has been Les Miserables.
