Your uncle has done a great job stargazer. I honor those who have used great amount of time and money to get the old planes fixed and flying. It's a totally different thing to see a plane flying and hear the great radial engine sound compared to the quiet planes in the museums.

Does the planes happen to be somewhere between the Cincinnati and New York? I ask it becouse after the ISC I'll fly to Cincinnati. From there I'll go to New York by bus. Are there any places that I must visit? I know that Oskosh 2003 is held at the same time, but it's too far away.

Sometime i hope to go up there and visit that museum also. The pictures i've seen look great i believe they have some of the old Air Force 1 aircrfat that have flown the President of the United States on display there.

No international contacts, but I am coming this Friday! The trip takes about 20 hours without missed flights, technical problems or hijacks. The only problem is that I have to pack all the clothes and other things to a 55 litre backpack. I can't take any suitcases, becouse it would limit my mobility while travelling from Cincinnati to New York after the camp.

Wish me luck!

I just saw quite a few of the International Space Camp campers today while I was getting ready to leave camp! It was very cool to meet such a diverse crowd. I also saw SpaceNerd from the forum.

It's almost two weeks from the end of the camp and I have finally made my way back to home after over a week of travelling in the States. I already miss all the ISC participants and the great international feeling of the camp. It was once in a life time experience which I'll never forget. The counselors were great. Especially Becky, Scott and Andy.

The camp left me speechless. I had so great time there.

I wish I could get back there some day.

Funny how you guys thought of "First Koala in Space!" Because only the week before you, my team and I thought of the idea to launch the first MOTH into space. So we loaded a moth into the rockets payload compartment and launched it. And it lived!

We weren't allowed to launch anything that was live.

Well, I loved our moth! Jason and the other guy were perfectly fine with it too. I thought it was going to die, but apparently this was one healthy moth. I guess the boys (and Dan) got a kick out of it. They even ran out into the field like they were paramedics or something to rescue him. Truly a funny experience.
