Hey guys, hope to see some of you this summer! I'm moving back into the hab on Thursday once my finals are over! Yay! I can't wait! Find me if you come this summer!

lucky you i wish i ewas going back this summer but no such luck.

I'll be going back, but not during summer. Too many people. It's much better during the off season (and cheaper).

I'll be there July 4th sometime in the evening (6 or 7pm). We're booking my flight this week and then I'll know for sure. I'll see you then!! I can't wait to go back!!!!!

I only went during the off season once. I always liked going during the summer when there were aloy of people tyhere. That way i also got to meet more people.

I couldn't go during the off season because I would have missed too much school. Going in th esummer is awesome though because you meet so many people from all over.

i havent been there in the summer to compare, but i liked it a lot in the spring. i dont think i would have liked it if there were a lot of people, i like smaller groups. and i think that since our team only had 10 people we got closer than we would have if we had had 18 on our team.

I finally get to figure out who you are!

Well when i went to ASA in July of 98 we had 17 people on the team and you'd be amazed how close you can get of the 17 people on the team there were only about 3 who never really bothered to get close to the group till near the end of the week. But in the end we were all great friends.

I'm not planning on going back until next school year. I agree that small groups are better because you get closer.

I still don't know if i totaly agree with smaller groups being closer. My group of 17 at asa was the closest team i was ever on. with 17 we were still closer than at camp with a group of 12 where only a few of us were close friends or AC in 96 where we had 11 and it was still a close team but not nearly as close as my ASA team so a large team can still get very close.

Ive had ASA groups anywhere from 8 to 17 people and each time we were all really close by the end of the week.

Man i wish i could have gone 8 times and especially that close together. I had 2 or 3 years inbetween my trips. Its also good to have another person whos's been to AC we seem to be few and far between here.

I used to go once a year every summer...but then I started liking it so much that I have been there three times this year. I will eventually go something like 11 times before I go to college. A bunch of the counselors have already said that they have mistaken me for a counselor many times. It may be my lanyard...it has seven sets of wings on it and pins all up the sides from awards I have one....haha I also have my right stuff medal framed and on my wall....

Lucky you getting to go so many times. I know i got alot of looks from counselors and other campers at ASA just having 3 sets of wings on my flight suit.

So Biscuit, how's life back at the Hab?

she didnt take her computer with her, so i would be suprised if she responded. she will be leaving for a month in may or june or something and she will have bandwidth again. i do know from brent that she is on the fourth floor in hab1...so yeah thats cool...shes going to be there when im there in july. we cant wait to finally meet each other. she even said she would get me some NON-SPACE CAMP FOOD! YAY!

I see. I got non-spacecamp food while I was there last summer. My dad pre-arranged for me to leave on Sunday night and go to church while everyone else was SCUBA diving. I couldn't do it because of my asthma. Anyways, after church they took me out to Wendy's for dinner. It was really kinda cool.

Real food at space camp? those 2 things don't seem tpo go together.
