Space Camp and NASA's new mission.

Well something i've been thinking about recently is how Space Camp fits into NASA's mission statement now better than ever. For those of you who don't know Shawn Okeefe i believe it was sometime last year released a new mission statement for NASA. It Stated.
"To understand and protect our home planet"
"To Explore the universe and search for life"
"And to inspire the next generation of explorers as only NASA can"
The last part of that mission statement has become a big part of the okeefe administration with the educator astronaut program. You consider within 24 hours of putting out the call for ediucator astronauts they had over 3000 applicants and by the deadline even with the columbia accident they had more than 8000 applications for a maximum of 6 spots. But to me Space Camp now more than ever in its history is helping NASA acomplish it's mission. And its a verry important part of that mission. Because without inspiring future explorers where would we be in the future. Just my thoughts and would love to know what others think.
