Advice for AC
Space Nerd-
Make sure you bring sweatshirts and sweatpants, its going to be cold in those rooms. I mean, its literally SIBERIA inside those rooms at night! There is nothing you could do about it!
Also DO NOT RUN while in E&E- the thorns are three inches long. Use the crawl to move yourself.
Bring ski gloves or gloves of a similar toughness for E&E
training- that way while crawling you will be able to feel for the thorns.
Use your ears in E&E- these are your eyes in the darkness.
During E&E - when in doubt, do not move. If a counselor is so close to you, do not move a single bit.
I also know for a fact that Mach II's E&E is not the same as the one for Mach III - this was a point emphasized by our counselors.

I have a couple more pieces of advice for you. One before you go you might want to check some military surplus stores or if you can get on a military base go their and get some camoulflage face paint. They do provide it to you at AC but when i went they didnt give you a whole lot to work with when you have a team of 12 people. Some members of my team actually went over to the dining hall where you eat lunch over at the AC area and got charcoal out of the grills they use and used it to darken their face and hands. I wish i had done that the people who did all made it through escape and evasion. It might be gritty and a bit uncomfortable but it seemed to work. And the people who say bring sweat pants and sweat shirt is right it gets verry cold in those rooms at night and they dont give you alot in the way of a blanket. I was lucky i got the aviation challenge clothing package that had a sweat shirt and sweat pants in it so i was warm. Oh and the one piece of advice i havent seen anyone give yet is watch out for the skunks their are alot in the area. The first night i was at AC one f them either sprayed the air conditioning unit or got into the air ducts because they stank up alot of the dorms. Luckily my room wasnt affected and the smell was gone by morning.

For escape and evasion your issued an old pair of tank drivers overalls. They resemble pilot flight suits. Their just a regular green color just like the flight suits but no patches. And of course at mach 3 you'll be issued a flight suit to wear during the week as well.

Well some of the girls at AC were the best pilots on the team and then some were also the worse.
