Well welcome aboard. As far as how it works its just like a message board on AOL if your familiar with them. You post people reply you replay back and you get to stay in contact with lots of former space campers this way. As far as the date that your going back i'm not going then but i thought id seen someone else say they were going the next week.

I go July 5-11 but I arrive on the 4th because of flights. I might see you there. Are you staying an extra night?

I don't know if I'm staying an extra day yet. It depends on if I fly or drive. Also, my going back depends on if I am accepted for an 8-week apprenticeship with NASA through the NASA SHARP program. If I am accepted I won't be able to go back because I'll be gone. Thanks for making me feel welcome!

Personaly if i were you i'd rather have the NASA internship insted of going to space camp but i hope you get to do whichever you want.

I would rather do the apprenticeship, but they only accept 400 out of about 1,000 applicants. Also, I'm supposed to be going back to camp with a friend I met last year.
If anyone wants the website for the apprenticeship it is:
www.nasasharp.com
The application deadline for this year is Monday.

Because of where I live I have to participate in the commuter component of the program. I would get sent to one of about nine universities that are currently doing research for NASA. That's the biggest drawback, I wouldn't be home for the entire summer and I could possibly end up in LA by myself.

Oh ok i figured they would have sent you to the closes NASA center which i guess would be either Glenn or Goddard and set you up with a place to stay but i guess the university thing makes sense.

My biggest problem is just my spelling not typo's. How is it for everyone else?

I'm like a perfectionist. I always double-check everything I write. I have Mirriam Webster on my links bar. It's really pretty sad...

I really should do that more often. I'm infamous for typos.
