dude, ok...if there were no pda rules at camp, it would have been so much more fun. without a doubt. i think there should be some activities that don't involve space ya know? i mean, at the end of the day, when it's dark and whatnot they should do a little dance party or something. that would have been so much fun. but anyways, i miss you my colby darling! haha, can't wait to see you again.

PDA RULE

Well, if there were no pda rules (which are kind of oppressive...), Space Camp probably wouldn't have parents sending kids to their camp if they heard that such things were tolerated...

Little known fact:  Space Camp hosts more kids away from their parents than Disney World does every year...

Ok sure the PDA rule sucks but you only have a week at space camp. If the camp lasted all summer then maybe it could be diffrent but with only a week their are more important things to worry about than pda with members of your team.

True and i still think PDA doesnt have a place in such a short camp program. Theirs just too much else to do and never enough time to do it.

PDA has to stay or people will do it. No matter how long camp is.

True thats why the rule is nessecary. Otherwise teenage hormones would probably cause some problems.

Has anyone noticed that the person who started this subject only posted once then dissapeared. I wonder what they would think if they came back now and saw the forum.

Funny you should mention that!

She's actually a friend of mine from my last visit to ASA...in fact, this very morning she sent me the following in a message:

WOW i haven't looked at hab1 in a while, i could spend hours looking at the new stuff you have now! it's awesome. i love the Space Camp Newsletter thing, i wish they still did that. aaaanyskooch, excellent site! ...

She's aware of the new forum...I think she's just not quite into camp the way we all are! But she wants to be a counselor too!

That's cool we have a few people on the sight who have posted a few times way back and then never posted again. I'd love to see how they'd all react to the forum now.

omg yeah i TOTALLY agree with the pda rule being so unbelievably stupid. i know what ur talking about! alone.....in the dark......HA. oh and little kids wouldnt and shouldnt be doing pda neway. i mean, the first time i was at asa i had my arms around my friends shoulders (2 guys) and they were doing the same...TOTALLY friendly, i mean i didnt even like them, then this counselor comes over and is all, "NO PDA! do u wanna get reported?" how freaking lame is that? oh and if she checked up on hab1, she'd chew yur guys's heads off cuz shes more against this rule than i am!

I dont think that sghould be considered pda especialy with 2 guys. Heck if thats pda our team broke it all the time. Ive got pics with my arm around guys and girlsbut only as griends. The people on my ASA team were like brothers and sisters to me we were so close.
