Fantastically nerdy theater writer Helen Arney is working on a play about the Mercury 13 called "Almost Astronauts". On episode 3.1 (October 10, 2023) of A Podcast Of Unnecessary Detail she shared one of the songs written for (and subsequently cut from) the show, about Wally Funk.
