LEGO recently released a larger model of the Discovery and Hubble Space Telescope. I was thrilled with the smaller version from 2003, part of the Discovery Kids series, and excited to see how this one compares. The new version has three times as many pieces and thus three times as large; it also has a mid deck!
Who else ordered this to build and enjoy for years to come:

Re: LEGO STS-31
It does have a lot of nice features
However, I was short VIP points so I never even tried to order the Ulysses probe kit.

Ulysses was sold out by the time I tried to order it, anyway. My uncle couldn't get it either. They must have had very few available.
