EVA Suits

I really like the look of the current SC EVA suits. Can anybody fill me in on what the suits are made from? I know they're custom made by the USSRC's seamstress, and appear to be some kind of two-piece garment like a ski suit.

Properly a thick fabric. When I was at SA this summer, my first EVA we got ice packs and even then it was warm. The second one me and my partner where not as lucky to get ice packs.

I don't have a clue what they're made of, but they're freaking thick, for many reasons. I wore them twice my last time in 2014, both on the Moon base and EVA for the ISS and I think they have to be very heavy for all that wear.
The ice vests worked great on my EVA for all of about 10 minutes. Then, I was reminded of wearing chemical suits in the Army in hot weather, which if you made your enemy POWs wear them, it'd probably violate the Geneva Convention for cruelty to prisoners.
I freaking baked in that thing and I was guzzling water for a while afterward.

On the Moon base mission, we didn't use the ice vests. I baked for sure, then...

If anyone really wants to know, I can ask when I go back (which is very soon).

I eventually emailed Space Camp. Turns out that, besides the Tecnica Moon Boots and the lacrosse gloves, everything is made in-house. Slighly disappointed, as I am currently working on a space suit for Halloween, but I'm sure I can improvise!

Ya might check out Ryan from 3F Studios. He's the guru of the homemade spacesuit. I bet he can point you in the right direction.
