I ordered a mug and a patch. No way to choose which color mug, though, so I put it in the Additional Information field on the checkout. I chose black. Looking forward to more items in the future.

I had to look to see what you meant. Funny stuff. I never played with Legos as a kid (they cost too much, I had the generic brand of blocks like that) but I loved the movie.

Everything is indeed awesome when you're part of a team!

Needless to say, the 1980s astronaut was my favorite character in the movie...

I hope they still have them in my size by October.

If I have learned anything about the gift shop at SC, it's to buy when they have what you want as stock rotates through there faster than anything I've ever heard of. That said, postage can get awfully pricey when dealing them, though.

I have a whole stack of Men's size L and XL camp shirts dating back to 1998. Wish I had a use for them beyond night dresses. Haha. A Space Camp quilt may be in my future. I like how they have ladies stuff now, even if the selection is smaller than the guys. Fingers crossed for ladies alumni wear.

I wish the would bring back the 2012 shirts too. I won an alumni polo shirt back in 2007 but it again was men's L so I traded it in for something else when I went back for the alumni weekend that year.

Shipping to Canada-land is super expensive so we will have to wait until October. (LEGO shirts, more pyjama pants, and alumni patches are on the wish list!

It's expensive everywhere. PK tried to place an order and found that shipping charges within the US were very pricey.

So... um... I had an American friend be the middle person and ship it to me instead. (You know who you are - thanks!)

Yikes. I knew the postage situation to the Great White North was bad, but not that bad...

Because it is international, they have to use a courier service (Fed Ex or UPS), pay customs fees, etc. It adds up very quickly. (And then sometimes I get stuck with another bill on my end for import fees and government taxes!) Thus, whenever we visit America we order all our American wish list items delivered to our hotel so we can fly them home with us. Or ship them to my parents or a friend in America who is willing to be the middle person.

In all fairness, if you Google my address, you can see that I live waaaaayy up in nowhere-land, so it costs more money to get stuff here. Most people don't realize just how far away we live.
