Adam Savage visits the Space and Rocket Center and gets a private, up-close tour of the center's hardware archives, which are much more extensive than I realized: http://www.tested.com/art/makers/459540 ... -day-ever/

Great link, I knew he was a big NASA fan.
Cool that the guy with the copy of the A7-series Apollo EVA suit is on that blog, I'd been following the build of that suit here: http://www.therpf.com/f24/apollo-a7l-ji ... de-170682/

Always wanted to take a look inside the archives. I'm sure there's many more treasures in there!

Did you notice some of the things in this thread? http://habforum.hab1.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2569 I still can't get over them having a helmet prop from the movie, "Moonraker," I'd love to know how that got into the collection!

Oh yeah, love the Moonraker stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if they have more space movie props laying around. I know they also have the XRV lifting body model from the movie "Marooned" hanging in one of the stairwells of the old museum.
