Among my many varied interests, I'm also into railroad history.
The Lunar Rover in the Davidson Center has a history in that regard, it was carried on a historical train during the bicentenial between 1975-76: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_Train
I saw that train when I was kid, in my hometown in Florida and since then, I have been interested in the history of the train itself. Last year, I'd had no idea that I'd seen the lunar rover at Huntsville on that train. This year, I'd since learned it'd been carried across the country on the train, and I submitted some shots of it for this website devoted to the train's history: http://freedomtrain.org/american-freedo ... -rover.htm
