The first day this year is Thursday, April 25th. They have an opening ceremony of sorts. This year, they're showing Space Warriors.

The first race day is Friday. In the Moonbuggy Race, every team gets two runs on the course. Friday will be the teams' first run. After the first day, they order the teams from best time to worst, and run them in that order on Saturday.

It was pretty good; there was some tough competition.

Though, the best part for me was being on NASA TV while playing trombone and wearing a Captain America mask (long story).

2014: I know they changed a few of the criteria for this year's race, but why did they switch the name?

How did the race events go, btw? I wasn't at home enough to watch the video feed.
