Still shuttle-based training at SC in 2012?

I have yet to read anything on if the training this year is still based on the shuttle or not. Seeing that the shuttle is now history as of last year, I was wondering if SC has kept up with that and perhaps shifted to Space Station-based training scenarios.
I'm going to SC this fall and was wondering if I'll be handling the shuttle simulators or not...

C'mon, does anyone know if the shuttle is being used as the basis for training this year or not? There's been campers so far this year, it should be an easy question...

Yes, shuttle missions are still on the menu.
Space Camp does have a new capsule simulator as well, but I would be surprised if it gets incorporated into the adult programs this year.

I was told that the youth Academy program uses the new capsule sim not sure about the adult program. I do know the adult weekend program was always based on the youth Academy program so it is possible it may be used for adults. As far as discovery it was never turned into a capsule its still being used as a shuttle last time i saw. The Endeavour sim from what i saw and have heard was turned into a rover vehicle for new missions.
However the shuttle and space stations sims are also still in use.

Endeavour is a rover now? I can't imagine how you re-work that into that. I guess I'd have to see it to know.

Not rover so much like you think from the Apollo program as much as the type of encloed Vehicle NASA has been testing for several years now in the desert to develop it or a similar vehicle for future lunar or mars exploration. Look up NASA Desert RATS if you are unfamiliar with them and you will likely see the vehicle i'm talking about. The old Apollo era enclosed research vehicle in the rocket park is an older example of a similar concept

ok lemme get this straight... Tell me what is there or not
Intrepid, That was the Camp level sim with mid deck and flightdeck.
Discovery, Motion sim, no motion now, hooked up to the space lab module with a MMU arm.
Atlantis, Mid deck and flight deck, hooked up to the EDM hab module.
Enterprise, flight deck, mid deck, and payload bay with RMS.
Columbia, went away if I remember, correct. Used to be the Camp level sim like Intrepid.
Did I miss anything?
There is a capsule now. What was endevour?

sounds about right except Discovery no lopnger has a cargo bay, space lab module or robot arm its just the cockpit. Endeavour was the other motion based cockpit used by Academy from the early 90s till sometime in the 2000's when it was removed from the TCF. A few years ago it was returned to the traiing center circa 2007 or 2008. Endeavor is now being turned into a mars/lunar transport vehicle for surface exploration is the way i understand it.
The new capsule with a lander cabin is over by the elevator now where the Endeavour sim sat for many years. NHot sure about the exact location of Endeavour or Discovery. Look on the space camp websites picture gallery at the new sims to see more.

The only thing I could find shows some items being constructed in 2010 and nothing else. Is there any photos online from
this year that shows what the sim area is like now?

That thumping sound you're all hearing to the northwest is me banging my well-worn noggin against my desk.
For the life of me, I cannot understand why there are no good current photos of the sim areas or even mention of what is going on at the sims at SC this year. I'm scheduled to go in September, and I guess I'll hgave to go there myself to see what any of it looks like these days...
