One month to go!

Post by Kemara »

Well, I'm off to adult ASA in a month, God willing. I found a nice sleeping bag last week, so I won't have to sleep directly on one of those smelly mattresses. I also got the perfect backpack with pockets for all my gadgets (phone, camera, pda). The best part is that I'll have 3 days to recover when I get home. Whee! I'll be sure to file a nice long report when I get back to earth.

Well i also decided to make a couple of changes to my signature and my avatar. Since noone else has the Space Camp symbol for their Avatar i changed mine to it. Sure it was a long time ago but i went and i'm proud to so i changed it. I also liked the signatures of Whitestar and Kemara who added the dates they went to camp so i added them to my signature as well. I'll have to look on my space academy certificate and find the exact dates i was their i just know its late april of 93.

Not that there's a chance otherwise, but I do hope you enjoy camp!

...and yes, I think it is a fine idea to put down what camp you were at and when. A nice touch indeed!

Thanks for the good wishes guys! Let's hope this year is quieter than last year. I have a bad feeling though that they still won't be giving tours of Marshall. ::sigh:: Oh well... I can't believe it's been a year... :(

Well your kost likely right that you wont get a tour of marshal. I know NASA Langley research center's bus tours havent restarted and its unknown if they ever will again. I'm sure you'll have plenty of fun though. Hopefully their wont be anything to put a black cloud over the week this time.
