Well the class has not yet been announced but i have been told they will be in the next few days. The announcement I am referring to is this which was posted on Space Camp's facebook group today.

"Alright Alumni and fans of Space Camp, Aviation Challenge and the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, we have great news just in - Max Q, the all astronaut band, will be playing at the Hall of Fame Ceremony here on August 20th!"

I know they have been trying to get them there for several years now looks like they finaly did it. Hotdog and i both are going down and Kale has talked about it as well. Even without an alumni camp this should be a fun weekend with the hall of fame, and Star wars as well as Maz Q. Anyone else planning on attending the hall of fame this year?

Hurrah! I would love to see them perform. Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield is part of the band too - a really great guy.

I really hope they make a recording of the show. I would definitely pay for the CD.

And, of course, congratulations to everyone who makes it into the Hall of Fame.

Any word on WHERE Max Q will be set up to play on campus? Under the Pathfinder? Davidson Center? Just curious.

Currently the plan is to be set up in the Davidson Center under the Saturn V.

How was the Max Q concert? Vincent didn't mention it on his post about the event.

Vincents post was about the Apollo Saturn Reuniuon notthe hall of fame. The hall of fame isnt untill august this year. Max Q is playing at the hall of fame.

Yeah, I thought of that just after I wrote it... I'll blame it on a lack of sleep this weekend.
