3 Day adult program -- should I arrive a day early?
Just wondering if I should arrive a day early for the 3 day program, or stay an extra day? I originally wanted to try the 6 day, but thought I'd go for the 3 day this year, and if I get hooked (which from what I've read on these boards, I will be!) then I will do the 6 day next year. Any advice would be appreciated.
You don't have to (though I always enjoyed a little extra time to hang around camp).
It will give you some extra time to wonder around the Space Center or see more of Huntsville if you want, but you won't really get any additional activities on site that you won't get by participating in the weekend program.

I've always arrived early and stayed late but I'm from far out of state so flights made that happen. With extra time after you can see things that you may have missed during your weekend. Also, after grad you may end up going out for a meal with your team. So even if you do leave Sunday, give yourself time for something like that after.

If you've never been to the Space and Rocket center before it would be a good idea. 3-day camp is so crammed with things to do from daylight until after dark that you really don't have a chance to just wander around at your leisure.

I agree with all that's been said here. I also live outside America so my flight schedule also gave me an extra day or two in Huntsville. If I had to recommend one over the other, choose to stay a day AFTER your camp so you can socialise with team mates and get in a few things you may have missed during the camp.
If you cannot stay the extra day, that's fine too - you'll see and do a lot at the 3-day camp.
Have fun!
