It occured to me recently that it would be nice to have a gallery of group photos from previous Space camps. Maybe those of us who have them could scan them and send them and Vince could arrange a gallery on the website. I know that I have all of the group photos from the 11 times that i attended Space Camp or Aviation Challenge. It would be interesting to me to see the other teams through the years. Any comments?

I alays thought that would be cool also. I have all but my corporate camp one it was such a short program we didnt have a team photo.

I have all of mine too, plus an informal one with Hoot from my day at the alumni session in 2007.

I also learnt that counsellors get a copy of their team photos too! Or, at least my old counsellor has a folder of his team photos.

All of my team photos are different:
1998 - big multi-team shot sitting on the moonscape in Rocket Park
1999 - climbing on the LEM in Rocket Park
2004 - standing on the hill under Pathfinder
2004 - standing by the window with our team cake (and Rocket Park behind us)

Have there been any other 'standard' poses for team photos? I know some teams have their photo taken in front of Intrepid.

Another common spot these days especialy if weather is bad is in front of the LM mockup in the museum. AC typicly doest it beside the F-14 or in front of it seems like more recently its been beside it i believe i've even seen a few on top of it. As for counselors getting the photos they are available to the counselors for a small fee but alot of counselors do get them. I have my one tam photo of the team i led in 07. My team phtotos

1991- Multi Team photo all together on the moonscapse with the rocket park in the background.
1993- Two teams in the same position slightly off from where we were in the 1991 photo.
1996- In front of the F-14 AC photo. 1 team
1998- on the moon scape with the Saturn V laying behind us 2 teams
2005- no photo session was too short
2007- Standing on the hill under Pathfinder
2007- AC team as a counselor photo beside F-14
2008- In front of lunar module mockup in the museum

The counselor can purchase their team photo, if they like. When I was a counselor I did that, scanned their mission patch and put them in a scrapbook with notes about each team. My husband insists I should write a book of anecdotes, because the stories of the kids (I was exclusively Camp level) are hilarious.

Counselors often take pictures of their teams in front of Intrepid, but the camp photographer takes her pictures either on the knoll behind Pathfinder or in front of the LEM in the Davidson Center.

Ive got my 4 as well. Let me know where to upload and ill have them scanned in the am.

as for stories the counselors can tell. I think it would be great book. My first team had so much happen that we nearly got kicked out of camp and our counselor fired.
