Remembering the Avro Arrow

Post by SpaceCanada »

Whilst not a spacecraft ant not known to many outside of Canada, it was a plane like none other. Sadly though, the programme came to an abrupt halt 50 years ago before any real Arrows set to the skies.

I'd never heard of this aircraft, it's a fascinating story.

You should watch 'The Arrow' http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118641/ It's a great movie that tells the whole story.

I once heard that information about the Avro Arrow is considered propaganda in America so you may not be able to readily find the film, but it's worth renting if you can.
