Wow, a direct flight to Huntsville would be awesome!
You have to come back and tell us all about camp, post photos, and all that.
Hurrah for camp. YAY!!
I think I need a nap.

I plan on taking plenty of pictures! Hopefully my underwater camera will work for the UAT!

Underwater cameras WITH A FLASH take not-so-bad photos in the UAT but without a flash the photos are pretty grey. Your best bet (no matter what underwater camera you have) is to ask a non-diving person to go down to the portholes and take some photos from there as well with a normal camera. (Don't use a flash whilst taking photos through portholes.)
I am a treasure trove of random tips and information...
Regardless of which camera you have (minor detail), I just hope you have a most excellent, FUN, and wonderful time at camp! Enjoy it!

I have something similar to
this
(And for some reason the tagging isn't working...sorry about that)
that I used last year in thue UAT with excellent results. I used ISO 800 film (better in low light conditions than the more common ISO 400 or 200 films). I took the big "view finder" off the top of mine, as I found that it just got in the way and didn't help too much in taking the pictures. Not having a zoom does mean that you have to get a little closer than you might be used to with a standard digital with a zoom, but as long as you remember that (or even if you don't) the pictures should turn out good.

If you have photos and want to share them in the official gallery- let me know and we'll set something up!

Well unfortunately my underwater camer does not have a flash ut i'll try it anyway and I just got a new memory card for my digital camera that holds something like 800 pictures so I'll definetly be taking pictures at every opportunity. And andrew, thanks for the offer, and I'll try to take some photos of the center, rockets, etc for the gallery. I know it was helpful to have those to see when I was first going. Just a few hours! Can't wait!
